How we use information
We use information only for lawful purposes connected with running this website:
- To provide, maintain, secure and improve the website and its guides.
- To understand which pages are useful, so that we can write better content.
- To reply to messages, corrections and requests.
- To show advertisements and measure how they perform.
- To detect spam, abuse and technical problems.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Our legal bases are your consent (for example for non-essential cookies and personalised ads where required), our legitimate interest in operating a secure website, and legal compliance.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We and our partners use them for essential functions, analytics and advertising. You can accept, reject or delete cookies through your browser and the consent options we provide. Details, cookie categories and instructions are in our Cookie Policy.
Advertising and Google
We may use third-party advertising companies, including Google AdSense, to show ads on this website.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Google may use the DoubleClick (DART) cookie to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
- These companies may collect and use information such as your IP address, browser and device identifiers, and your interaction with ads.
Your choices for ads
- Opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings.
- Opt out of many third-party vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info/choices or optout.networkadvertising.org.
- Visitors in Europe can use youronlinechoices.com.
- Learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and how Google ads work.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we use (or will use) a consent management platform to ask for your consent before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used. Disabling personalised ads does not remove ads; they will just be less relevant.
Analytics and hosting
We may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics (including via Google Site Kit) and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are popular and which devices are used. These tools may set cookies or process IP addresses.
You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
The website is delivered through Cloudflare (content delivery and security) and hosted with a third-party web host, which process technical data such as IP addresses and server logs in order to serve and protect the site.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the site (hosting, security, analytics, email), under appropriate safeguards.
- Advertising partners, such as Google, in the way described above.
- Authorities or courts when the law requires it or to protect our rights, users or the public.
- A successor, if the website is transferred, with the same privacy commitments.
Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. As a guide: emails and messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards; server logs and analytics data are kept for a limited period set by the provider; cookies last for the periods described in the Cookie Policy. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards such as HTTPS, access controls and security tools to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach affecting you occurs, we will act as required by law.

- Ask us to correct, complete or update your data.

Children
ParinamSetu is intended for general audiences, including students, but is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children without a parent’s or guardian’s consent. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it. We do not track children or show behaviourally targeted ads knowingly to them.
