| By Roll No. and Application No. | You kept the application number from the exam form | Does not depend on a district |
| By Roll No. and School NIC-SD or PSP Code | The school gave you its code | Government schools use NIC-SD, private schools use the PSP code |
What each field on the form means
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Class | Pick Class 8 (Elementary Education Completion Certificate exam) |
| Roll No. | Digits only; copy from the admit card |
| District | One of 41 districts, from Ajmer to Udaipur; new districts such as Balotra, Beawar, Deeg, Didwana-Kuchaman, Khairthal-Tijara, Kotputli-Behror, Phalodi and Salumbar are in the list |
| Application No. | The number given when the exam form was filled on the school login |

Errors and fixes
| Problem | Likely reason | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No record found | Wrong digit or wrong second detail | Re-check the admit card; try another tab |

| Page does not load | Heavy traffic or a down portal | Try later or on another network; 503 errors are temporary |
| Result withheld | The board has held the result pending clearance (2,209 in Class 8) | Ask the school to follow up |
| Name or marks look wrong | Data entry issue | Report to the school; see RBSE marksheet download and correction |
We saw a 503 “service unavailable” message from the portal while researching, which is a good reminder that outages are normal during busy days.
If you do not know the roll number
- Look at the admit card or the exam fee receipt.
- Ask the class teacher or the school office, who have the full list.
- Open the Admit Card page in the 5th and 8th exam module of the portal.
- Read RBSE 8th result name wise for the full list of real options.
Beware of “name wise result” sites
Many sites say you can type a name and see a Rajasthan board result. The official result pages we opened do not have a name box (we read the form fields). A site that asks for money, an OTP, your Aadhaar number or a download of an app to show a result is not an official source. The board does not charge to view a result.
After you see the scorecard
- Check the student name, roll number and class.
- Check the grade in every subject (A 81 to 100, B 61 to 80, C 41 to 60, D 33 to 40, E 0 to 32).
- Download the PDF or print it. It is a provisional scorecard; the original marksheet comes through the school (Indian Express).
- An E grade in a subject means the supplementary category; see RBSE 8th class result 2026.
Language and phone tips
The Class 5 and 8 module has Hindi and English options, so switch the language before you read the labels. On a phone, zoom in on the captcha, type the answer to the sum and tap Search once. Tap Search once and wait for the page to respond.
8th result by roll number FAQs
How to check the 8th class result online by roll number?
Open the Class 5 and 8 result page on Shala Darpan, choose Class 8, type the roll number, choose the district (or use the application number or school code tab), solve the captcha sum and press Search.
Which district should I choose?
The form does not explain it. Start with the district of the student’s school. If nothing shows, use the application-number tab or the school-code tab, which do not depend on the district.
Where do I find the 8th roll number?
It is printed on the admit card. The school has the list of roll numbers. The portal also has an Admit Card page in the 5th and 8th exam module.
What is the school NIC-SD or PSP code?
NIC-SD code is the school code of a government school on the portal. PSP code is used for private schools on the private school portal (rajpsp.rajasthan.gov.in). Ask the school office.
The captcha is a calculation. What do I enter?
Solve the sum shown on the form (for example, add two numbers) and type only the answer.
Is the roll number alone enough?
No. The form needs the roll number plus one of three extras: district, application number, or school code.
Can I use mobile?
Yes, the page is a normal web form. Use a current browser and keep pop-up blockers off if the scorecard opens in a new tab.
The result says not found. What now?
Check each digit, try the other two tabs, and then ask the school. Some results are withheld: 2,209 in Class 8 in 2026.
