Who runs which exam
Class 10 and 12 are the board exams of the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER), Ajmer, which most people call RBSE. Class 5 and 8 are different. The result page is on the Integrated ShalaDarpan portal built by the National Informatics Centre for the school education department. A 2024 Times of India report says those exams were held across 33 district DIETs, and in 2025 Hindustan Times said the Rajasthan Education Department announced the Class 5 result. The 2026 results were declared at a press conference in Ajmer by the education minister and the RBSE secretary, which is why news reports use the “RBSE” label. For you the practical point is simple: look for Class 5 and 8 on Shala Darpan.
RSOS is not RBSE
Rajasthan State Open School is a separate body with its own enrolment number, exam cycle and portal. Its results are not on the RBSE result pages. Read RSOS result 2026.

| Class 12 Commerce | 30,798 registered; 30,580 appeared | 93.64% | Boys 94.04%, girls 92.82% |
Class 5 and 8 figures count students registered for the exam, as listed by the Indian Express from the official release. Class 12 figures are from the Times of India stream table based on board data. Some outlets printed 96.23 per cent, as Science or as a total, and others gave an overall Class 12 figure of 94.04 or 96.30 per cent. We could not match those to the stream data, so we do not use them. Details and the conflicts are on RBSE 10th class result 2026 and RBSE 12th result 2026.
What you need to check an RBSE result
| Class | Details asked | How we know |
|---|---|---|
| Class 5 and 8 | Roll number, plus one of: district, application number, or school NIC-SD or PSP code; then a captcha sum | Read from the official form |
| Class 10 | Roll number | Official result links are listed on the board Download Center; roll number is the only credential reported by media |
| Class 12 | Stream (Arts, Science or Commerce) and roll number | Official links are separate for each stream |
| RSOS | Enrolment number, date of birth and captcha | Read from the official RSOS result form |
Always follow the labels on the live form. We could not open rajresults.nic.in from our browser, so the Class 10 and 12 input list rests on the board Download Center page and consistent media reports, not on a screen capture of the form.
Use official pages only
Check the address bar before you type a roll number: it should end in rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in, rajresults.nic.in or rajshaladarpan.rajasthan.gov.in. Do not pay anyone to “get” a result.
Name wise RBSE result: what the official pages show
| Official page | What it asks | Name search? |
|---|---|---|
| Class 5 and 8 result form | Fields: Class, Roll No., District (or Application No. or School code), Captcha | No name field |
| Board Download Center (Class 10 and 12) | Links by exam: Secondary & Vocational, Senior Secondary Science, Commerce and Arts | No name search listed |
| RSOS result form | Enrolment, date of birth, captcha | No name field |
Navbharat Times (24 March 2026) also says the RBSE site has no direct name option. It describes a school or district result PDF method, which we could not verify on the board site. The honest steps for a lost roll number are on RBSE 10th result name wise and RBSE 8th result name wise.
Beware of “name wise result” sites
Many sites say you can type a name and see a Rajasthan board result. The official result pages we opened do not have a name box (we read the form fields). A site that asks for money, an OTP, your Aadhaar number or a download of an app to show a result is not an official source. The board does not charge to view a result.

Supplementary exams and second chances
For 2026, the Class 10 and 12 supplementary theory exams were held in mid-May, with Class 10 practicals from 7 May, and the results came on 29 May 2026: in Class 10, 16,991 of 26,266 students who appeared passed (64.69 per cent), and in Class 12, 4,822 of 6,730 passed (71.65 per cent), as reported by Rajasthanone. That is much earlier than 2025, when the supplementary exams were held on 6, 7 and 8 August (Hindustan Times). Class 5 and 8 students with an E grade were placed in the supplementary category: 30,640 in Class 5 and 38,276 in Class 8. The board’s own Download Center also lists “RL, RWH and revised” result files, with updates as late as 15 and 16 October 2026 for Class 12 and Class 10. The page does not spell out those abbreviations, so we read them as results declared later, results withheld and revised results.
From 2026-27, Class 10 students get two board exams in one year. See RBSE 10th ka result kab aayega.
Marksheet and documents after the result
The online scorecard is provisional. The original marksheet comes through the school. Class 10 and 12 marksheets since 2015 are also available on DigiLocker, and the board has an online application for duplicate documents and corrections. The rules for name and date-of-birth corrections changed more than once in June and July 2026, so read RBSE marksheet download and correction before you apply.
The 2027 outlook (an expectation, not an announcement)
- Class 10: two board exams in 2026-27. Reports say the first, compulsory exam is in February to March 2027 and the second, an improvement exam for up to three subjects, in May to June 2027. The board has not published the dates we could verify.
- Class 12: we found no announcement of a change. The 2026 exam ran 12 February to 11 March.
- Class 5 and 8: the 2027 exam application ran on the school login from 24 September to 21 October 2026 and was extended to 3 November 2026. We found no 2027 exam date on the portal.
- Date sheet: Jagran Josh (28 October 2026) says the Class 10 and 12 date sheet is expected by December 2026. For 2026 it was released on 19 December 2025.
Our expectation: if the 2027 exams start in February as in 2026, results may arrive between late March and May 2027. That is a guess from the pattern, not a date from the board. We will update this page when the board publishes a schedule.
Staying safe during result week
- Type the official address yourself instead of tapping a link in a chat message.
- Never share an OTP or pay for a “fast result” or “name wise” service.
- If the board site is slow, try the second official site or DigiLocker for Class 10 and 12.
- Check the roll number and name on the scorecard before you print it.
RBSE result FAQs
When was the RBSE result 2026 declared?
Class 10 on 24 March 2026 at 1:00 PM and Class 12 (Arts, Science and Commerce) on 31 March 2026 at 10:00 AM, as printed on the board’s 2026 Download Center. The Class 5 and Class 8 results were also declared on 24 March 2026, on Shala Darpan.
Where can I check the Rajasthan board result?
Class 10 and 12: rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in or rajresults.nic.in. Class 5 and 8: the Class 5 and 8 result page on Shala Darpan. RSOS (open school): rsosadmission.rajasthan.gov.in. The result is also on DigiLocker for Class 10 and 12.
Can I check the RBSE result by name?
We found no name search on the official pages. The Class 5 and 8 form asks for a roll number plus a district, an application number or a school code. The board Class 10 and 12 result is a roll-number lookup. Sites that promise a name search are not official. See RBSE 8th result name wise, RBSE 5th result name wise and RBSE 10th result name wise.
What is the pass percentage of RBSE 10th in 2026?
94.23 per cent (about 10.68 lakh students). Boys 93.63 per cent and girls 94.90 per cent in the reports we matched. See RBSE 10th class result 2026.
What are the RBSE 12th result 2026 pass percentages?
Arts 97.54 per cent, Science 97.52 per cent and Commerce 93.64 per cent in the reports based on board data. The figure 96.23 per cent appears in some reports, as the Science figure in some and as a total in the Hindustan Times live blog. It does not fit the board’s stream data, so we do not use it. See RBSE 12th result 2026.
Is RSOS the same as RBSE?
No. Rajasthan State Open School (RSOS) is a separate body with its own enrolment numbers, exams, results and portal. See RSOS result 2026.
Who conducts the Class 5 and Class 8 board exams in Rajasthan?
The exam and its result run through the Shala Darpan portal of the school education department. News reports often call them “RBSE 5th and 8th”, and in 2026 the result was announced at the RBSE headquarters in Ajmer, but the official result page is on Shala Darpan, not on the board site. See Shala Darpan result and login guide.
When will the RBSE 2027 results come?
There is no date yet. The 2027 date sheet had not been released in the reports we read (28 October 2026). Class 10 will have two board exams from 2026-27. See RBSE 10th ka result kab aayega for the history and our labelled expectation.
How do I get my marksheet or a duplicate?
The online result is provisional and the original comes through the school. Duplicates and corrections go through the board’s online application. See RBSE marksheet download and correction.
Is there a supplementary exam?
Yes for Class 10 and 12 in 2026 (held mid-May, results on 29 May 2026: 64.69 per cent passed in Class 10 and 71.65 per cent in Class 12) and for Class 5 and 8 (held 20 to 25 July 2026 according to a third-party guide, not an official page we could open). From 2026-27, Class 10 moves to a two-exam system.
