The Indian Express printed 94.20 per cent for girls, which cannot be right: an overall 94.23 per cent has to sit between the boys’ 93.63 per cent and the girls’ figure. We use 94.90 per cent, as NDTV and Mint do. Some 19,010 registered students did not appear (our arithmetic); no source gives the reasons.

The exam ran from 14 to 16 May 2026, with practicals from 7 May, and the result came on 29 May 2026 (Rajasthanone, Daily Jagran, Indian Express). In 2025 the supplementary exam took place on 6 to 8 August. The board’s Download Center also lists revised results for Class 10 updated on 16 October 2026; it does not spell out the file abbreviations.
Topper list: what is published
We could not open an official Class 10 topper list on a board page. Media reports (India Today, NDTV India and Jagran) name Priyanshi Sunda of Sikar as the topper with 599 of 600 (99.83 per cent), and name Ananya and Riddhima Jangid at 598. Some other reports disagree, so read the names, the sources and the conflicts on RBSE topper list 2026. A list on another site is unverified until the board publishes one.
After the result: re-check, marksheet, correction
In 2026 the board ran the online SCRUTINY-2026 application. It checks the total of marks, missing marks and mark transfers and does not re-mark answers. The fee was Rs 400 per subject, within 7 days of the result plus 3 days with a late fee, and Class 10 students also got a question-level re-check in English, Science and Maths (Times of India, 25 March 2026). The board’s helpline numbers, as printed by the Indian Express, are 0145-2632866, 2632867 and 2632868.
Class 10 in 2027: two board exams
Reports say the Class 10 board exam will be held twice from 2026-27. The first, compulsory exam would be in February to March 2027, and the second in May to June, to improve up to three subjects; the better result counts (Indian Express, Jagran Josh). The Indian Express adds that a student who fails more than three subjects cannot take the second exam in the same session and that there is no supplementary exam; Jagran Josh says supplementary-category students can use the second exam for up to three subjects. These two reports disagree, so wait for the board’s notice. As of 28 October 2026 the 2027 date sheet had not been released. The full date outlook is in RBSE 10th ka result kab aayega.

What the result page shows
The Daily Jagran lists these items on the Class 10 and 12 result: roll number, candidate name, father’s name, mother’s name, school or centre name, subject names, theory, sessional and practical marks, total marks, percentage and result division. Check each against the admit card the same day. If a mother’s name or a subject is wrong, tell the school at once, because the correction rules in RBSE marksheet download and correction have fees and time limits.

Girls led in all five years. The gap narrowed from 2.76 points in 2022 to under a point in 2024 and 2025, and widened again to 1.27 points in 2026.

Reading the numbers: who did not pass
Of the 10,49,068 students who appeared, 60,548 did not pass (our arithmetic). In the supplementary round, 30,898 filled the form, about 51 per cent of that figure, and 26,266 appeared. The form count can include other categories of candidates, so do not read it as a pure share of failed students. The gap between 30,898 and 26,266 is 4,632 students who filled the form but did not sit the exam (our arithmetic).
Of those who appeared in the supplementary exam, 9,275 did not pass (our arithmetic). The 2027 two-exam system is meant to give such students a planned second attempt in the same session; see the rules above and wait for the board notice.
