BSTC admit card release gap, year by year
| Year | Admit card released | Exam | Days before exam | Where we read it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2019 | 17 May 2019 | 26 May 2019 | 9 | Scroll, Times of India, Times Now (17 May 2019) |
| 2020 | 26 August 2020 | 31 August 2020 | 5 | Hindustan Times, Scroll (26 Aug 2020) |
| 2021 | 27 August 2021 | 31 August 2021 | 4 to 5 | Times of India, India TV, Scroll (26 or 27 Aug 2021) |
| 2022 | 3 October 2022 | 8 October 2022 | 5 | Hindustan Times, Times of India, Indian Express (3 Oct 2022) |
| 2023 | 21 August 2023 | 28 August 2023 | 7 | Careers360, Hindustan Times, Indian Express (21 Aug 2023) |
| 2024 | 24 June 2024 | 30 June 2024 | 6 | Times of India, Hindustan Times, NDTV Rajasthan (24 Jun 2024) |
| 2025 | 24 May 2025 | 1 June 2025 | 8 | Hindustan, Jagran Josh (24 May 2025); one report says 25 May |
| 2026 | 14 May 2026 | 20 May 2026 | 6 | Indian Express (14 May 2026) |
The gap is our count of days between the two reported dates. Reports for 2021 give 26 or 27 August, so we show a range, and one 2025 report gives 25 May, which would make that gap seven days. The shortest gap is 4 days (2021) and the longest 9 days (2019).
How to estimate the date for the next exam
| Case | Release date | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Early case | Exam day minus 9 days | Earliest gap in our data (2019) |
| Likely case | Exam day minus 6 days | Middle gap (median) of the eight cycles |
| Late case | Exam day minus 4 days | Shortest gap in our data (2021) |
Example: if a notice fixes the exam on a Sunday, the likely release is the Monday or Tuesday of the same week, and in the 2025 and 2026 cycles it came 8 and 6 days before. This is only a pattern. The portal decides the real date.
The exam date for 2027 is not known. See BSTC exam date 2026 for the date history.
