How long the 2026 cycle took
Counting from the official dates gives a sense of the pace. These day counts are our arithmetic.
| Stage | Dates | Days |
|---|---|---|
| Form opens to exam | 2 December 2025 to 20 May 2026 | 169 |
| Admit card to exam | 14 May to 20 May 2026 | 6 |
| Exam to provisional answer key | 20 May to 24 May 2026 | 4 |

| Result to first allotment | 10 June to 20 June 2026 | 10 |
| Result to special phase allotment | 10 June to 7 September 2026 | 89 |
The long gap from form to exam came from the repeated extensions of the form date. The counselling dates also moved: the Times of India schedule of 11 June planned the second list for 13 July and the third for 22 July, but they came on 16 July and 4 August, and a special phase was added on 7 September.

BSTC exam date 2027: what we know
As of 3 November 2026, VMOU has not released a Pre D.El.Ed 2027 notification, a form or an exam date. Some websites show 2027 dates. They are predictions, not official notices.
How to avoid a wrong date
Trust only the VMOU website and the exam portal. When the 2026 cycle began, the notification came on 2 December 2025, so a December notification is possible. That is a pattern, not a promise.
How to track the next BSTC date without being misled
- Bookmark the VMOU site and the Pre D.El.Ed page and check them every week from November.
- Keep one active mobile number and email: the notification says exam information is sent by email or SMS where possible.
- Ignore a date that does not name a notice number or an official page.
- When a notice arrives, compare it with this page: we update the schedule table after we read the official notice.
