BSTC 3rd list: when does it come?
The third list is the third allotment round, and it comes only if seats remain after the first and second rounds. In 2026 it came on 4 August, about 55 days after the result. The 2026 first list came 10 days after the result, the second list came 36 days after, and the third came 55 days after (our counts). Later rounds help candidates who missed a government seat in round one.
For the 2027 cycle, do not expect a third list unless seats are vacant. Its date will only be known when the schedule is out.
Be ready before counselling starts
- Keep Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets, category and domicile certificates, a new passport photo and your printed form. The notification says to keep attested copies for counselling.
- Keep a mobile and email that work. Counselling login in 2026 asked for counselling ID, roll number, mother’s name and date of birth (Times of India).
- Keep the ₹3,000 registration fee ready, and plan for the ₹13,555 admission fee after allotment.
- Prepare your college list before the portal opens. See BSTC college list Rajasthan.
When counselling starts late
The 2023 cycle shows that delays can be long: about 78 days from result to the first allotment. We do not know what caused it. If counselling is late, do not pay anyone for a seat. Only the official portal starts counselling, and the notice will be on it.
Counselling terms in one table
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Registration | You register and pay ₹3,000 on the portal |
| Choice filling | You list colleges in order of preference |
| Allotment | The portal gives you a college by rank and choice |
| Admission fee and reporting | You pay ₹13,555 and report to the college with documents |
| Upward movement | You may move to a better choice in a later round |
| Special phase | A final round for the remaining seats |
