The 2026 bank verification for refunds ran from 26 September to 12 October 2026 and has closed. These amounts come from the e-Rajasthan mirror, which is not official. Details are in BSTC counselling 2026.
How to check the fee of a BSTC college
- Ask for a written fee list for both years, with every item (tuition, exam, practice, hostel).
- Match the college with the official list and the NCTE recognition. See BSTC private se kar sakte hai.
- Pay only through the portal or a receipt in the college’s name. Never pay in cash for a seat.
- Keep every receipt. They matter for a refund.
Source conflicts we found
CollegeDekho says the two-year cost at a government DIET is about ₹2 to ₹2.5 lakh, but its own yearly figures (₹5,000 to ₹12,000) give a two-year cost of ₹10,000 to ₹24,000. We think the lakh claim is an error and do not use it. Individual college listings show first-year fees of ₹11,250 to ₹16,556, so ₹13,555 should not be read as a fee that every college charges. Counselling reports describe it as the admission fee after allotment, and we treat it that way.

The known cash needed to start, by our arithmetic: ₹450 + ₹13,555 = ₹14,005 if the ₹3,000 is adjusted inside the ₹13,555, or ₹450 + ₹3,000 + ₹13,555 = ₹17,005 if the two add up. The reports differ, so plan for the higher figure and read your payment screen. The college’s yearly fee is separate and is not included in either number.

Fee windows and payment modes (2026 reports)
- The admission fee of ₹13,555 was paid online within the round window. In the first round the fee window was 20 to 27 June 2026 and reporting was 20 to 29 June.
- Payment modes named in the notices and reports: e-Mitra, net banking, debit or credit card and UPI.
- The fee was charged once per roll number (e-Rajasthan mirror).

What is the BSTC government college fees?

Not necessarily. Reports describe ₹13,555 as the admission fee paid after allotment, adjusted with the ₹3,000 counselling fee, and say it is not a universal first-year or two-year fee. Check the amount on your payment screen and your allotment letter.
Can I get a refund of BSTC counselling fee?
Reports on the 2026 refund say ₹2,900 comes back if no institute was allotted, the deposit minus ₹500 if you were allotted but did not report, and the deposit minus ₹1,000 if admission was cancelled. The amounts come from an independent mirror; read the official refund notice.
Is the BSTC total cost ₹2 lakh?
We do not think so. One website says the two-year cost at government DIETs is about ₹2 to ₹2.5 lakh, but the same site gives yearly fees of ₹5,000 to ₹12,000, which would make two years at most ₹24,000. Treat the lakh figure as an error.
Do government colleges charge less than private colleges?
