About the numbers
We did not find one official page that shows both figures together. The ₹23,700 probation figure comes from a copy of the Rajasthan Finance Department’s fixed-remuneration schedule, and ₹33,800 comes from pay-matrix reference pages and matches the RSSB-based reports. Treat it as the starting basic pay, not the in-hand salary.

A two-year plan while you study

Higher study after BSTC

Private school jobs after BSTC
Many private schools hire D.El.Ed holders for primary classes. We found no verified salary survey, and websites that list private-school pay copy each other. Ask the school for the written offer, the PF and leave rules, and do not pay any recruitment fee.
Warnings before you choose
- Do not believe a coaching ad that promises a government job after BSTC.
- Do not pay anyone for a seat or a job.
- Check the recruitment notice for qualifications, age and fee; they change every time.

The step from ₹23,700 to ₹33,800 is ₹10,100 a month, about 43 per cent more on the basic pay alone. Yearly figures exclude allowances and deductions, so the in-hand salary is different. We did not find a verified in-hand figure.

So, from Class 12, the earliest realistic start in a government school is several years away, and it depends on vacancies. Nobody can promise a date.

What is BSTC salary?
BSTC is a training course, so it has no salary of its own. A government primary teacher (Grade III, Level 1) in Rajasthan is at pay level L-10: fixed ₹23,700 a month during two years of probation, then a basic pay starting at ₹33,800 plus allowances. Private school pay is not fixed and we found no reliable figure.
What is the BSTC ke baad job?
The main job is Grade-III teacher (Level 1, classes 1 to 5) through the RSSB recruitment and the eligibility test. Other options are private primary schools, pre-primary schools, coaching and tuition, and further study.
Is salary the same for Level 1 and Level 2 teachers?
Reports on RSSB advertisements 08/2025 and 09/2025 place both Grade-III Level 1 and Level 2 teachers at L-10. The difference is qualification and classes taught (1 to 5 versus 6 to 8).
Is BSTC enough to become a teacher?
For primary classes in government schools, BSTC (D.El.Ed) is the required training, but you must also clear the eligibility test and the recruitment exam. For classes 6 to 8, graduation plus D.El.Ed or B.Ed is reported as the route; confirm in the advertisement.
Can I do B.Ed after BSTC?

Can I teach in central government schools after BSTC?
For CTET Paper I (classes 1 to 5), a candidate with Senior Secondary at 50 per cent and a two-year D.El.Ed (or appearing in the final year) is eligible. See the official CTET bulletin; the appointing authority makes the final check.
How long is the BSTC course?

Is there a government job right after BSTC?
No. Recruitment is separate. The last Level 1 advertisement we could verify (08/2025) listed 5,636 posts in the first notice. Testbook reports that the result is subject to pending court petitions, so check the latest status.
