BSTC 2022 exam: what we verified
The BSTC paper 2022 was written on Saturday, 8 October 2022. The Times of India reported that the Office of the Coordinator and the Registrar, Education Departmental Examinations, Bikaner conducted the exam. Applications were open from 19 August to 6 September 2022. More than 6 lakh candidates applied and 5,99,294 appeared.
The result was declared on Tuesday, 1 November 2022, 24 days after the exam. The state education minister announced the date on social media on 31 October. Candidates had to log in on panjiyakpredeled.in using their mobile number and password to see their results. The exam was for admission to D.El.Ed (General) and D.El.Ed (Sanskrit) courses.
The 2022 result was accessed with a mobile number and password, not with a roll number and date of birth as in some other years, so keep your registration details safe.
Where to get the BSTC 2022 paper PDF and answer key
The 2022 exam’s official site was panjiyakpredeled.in, and that site is online today. It is titled Pre D.El.Ed 2023 now, because the same portal was reused for the 2023 exam. You can visit it at panjiyakpredeled.in (official Pre D.El.Ed portal used in 2022 and 2023) for the notices it still carries. We could not open its announcements page from our system to confirm whether an answer key for 2022 is still listed, so we do not claim one.
Any PDF of the 2022 paper should show 8 October 2022. Unofficial question lists exist online, and one of them is only five pages long, which is clearly not a full 200-question paper. A real paper has four sections with 50 questions each.

The 2022 cycle in numbers

This was the only exam in our series held in October, so you cannot guess the date from last year’s month. It also fell on a Saturday, while the exams of 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2024 and 2025 were on Sundays and those of 2020, 2021 and 2023 on weekdays. Always read the date and day in the admit card.
The 32 days between the closing of applications and the exam is a useful planning window. A candidate who started the four-week plan from our old BSTC paper hub on the day applications closed would have finished it a few days before the exam. The minister announced the result date only a day in advance, so candidates had to keep checking the official portal and the minister’s posts.
The number 5,99,294 appeared, quoted by the Times of India from the minister’s post, is the main competition figure for this year. We cannot work out how many applicants stayed away because the reports say only that more than 6 lakh applied. The result login used a mobile number and password, so keep the number you registered with active until counselling is over.
What we could not verify for 2022
We did not find a verified topper score, seat count or cut-off for the 2022 cycle in the sources we could open. We also could not open the official portal’s announcements page from our system to see whether the answer key notice is still listed. Rather than repeat unnamed figures from coaching sites, we leave these out. If you have an official notice, send it through the Corrections Policy page and we will check and add it.
Mistakes to avoid when practising with the 2022 paper
- Reading only the answer key. You learn the topic only when you understand why the other options are wrong.
- Solving untimed. A paper solved at leisure hides the real problem, which is speed.
- Trusting memory-based keys. Always compare with the official answer key when it exists.
- Ignoring Teaching Aptitude. It carries 150 marks, as much as Mental Ability.
- Skipping Rajasthan topics. Rajasthan awareness is a full 150-mark section and rewards steady revision.
- Not keeping a mistake log. Without it, you repeat the same errors in the next mock.

Score yourself on the BSTC 2022 paper
Each question in the 2022 pattern is worth 3 marks and wrong answers do not lose marks, so your score is simply 3 times the number of correct answers. This table converts correct answers into marks on the 600-mark scale.

Qualifying is not the same as getting a seat. Seats are allotted by merit rank in counselling, so compare your score with the toppers and with the number of seats and candidates that year, not with the qualifying mark alone.
