Class 5 and 8 came with Class 10, and RSOS runs a separate calendar. For the class pages, see RBSE 10th ka result kab aayega and RBSE 8th ka result kab aayega. The timeline of the exam itself:

Sources: Indian Express, Times of India, NDTV and the board Download Center, as collected in RBSE 10th ka result kab aayega and RBSE 12th result 2026. The 2023 Science and Commerce date is 18 May in one report and 19 May in others. We left out 2021 because it followed a pandemic year with no regular board exam, and the dates are not comparable.
How long after the exam does the result come?
| Exam | Last paper | Result | Gap (our arithmetic) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Class 10, 2026 | 28 February | 24 March | 24 days |
| Class 12, 2026 | 11 March | 31 March | 20 days |
| Class 8, 2026 | 4 March | 24 March | 20 days |
The 2026 gaps were between 20 and 24 days, which is short compared with earlier years. In earlier years the gap was much longer: the 2024 Class 8 exam ended on 4 April and the result came on 30 May, 56 days later. We found no board explanation for the shorter 2026 gap. A start of the next session on 1 April was reported as a reason for the earlier result, but we could not confirm it from the board.
Class 5 and 8 result dates
| Year | Result date | Note |
|---|---|---|
| 2026 | 24 March | Same day for both classes |
| 2025 | Class 8: 26 May; Class 5: 30 May | NDTV, Hindustan Times |
| 2024 | 30 May for both | Class 8 at 3:00 PM |
| 2023 | Class 8: 17 May; Class 5: 1 or 2 June | Sources differ for Class 5 |
The exam dates for Class 5 and 8 are in RBSE 5th class result 2026 and RBSE 8th class result 2026. The Class 8 date page RBSE 8th ka result kab aayega also shows the application window for the 2027 exam and a labelled expectation. Class 5 and 8 results usually come on the same day or within a few days of each other, but the table shows the gap was four days in 2025 and more than two weeks in 2023, so do not assume both on one date.
Supplementary result dates
| Exam | Supplementary exam | Result |
|---|---|---|
| 2026 Class 10 and 12 | 14 to 16 May | 29 May |
| 2025 Class 10 and 12 | 6 to 8 August | Not confirmed by us |
| 2026 Class 5 and 8 | 20 to 25 July (third-party guide) | The portal has a link; the date is not confirmed by us |
The board homepage also lists a “Special Suppl. Examination Results 2026” link. We found no report that explains it, so we do not describe it. The details of the supplementary exam are in RBSE supplementary exam 2026.
The 2027 status: what is known and what is not
| Item | Status |
|---|---|
| Class 10 and 12 date sheet | Not released as of 3 November 2026; expected by December (Jagran Josh, NDTV) |
| Class 10 format | Two board exams from 2026-27: a compulsory first exam in February to March and a second in May to June to improve up to three subjects, as reported (Indian Express, Jagran Josh). The two reports differ on supplementary details |
| Class 5 and 8 application | 24 September to 21 October 2026, extended to 3 November 2026 (Shala Darpan) |
| Result date | None announced for any class |
The Indian Express and Jagran Josh disagree on whether Class 10 students who fail more than three subjects can take the second exam in the same session, so wait for the board notice.
Our expectation for 2027 (not an announcement)
This is a guess
If the board repeats the 2026 gap of 20 to 24 days after the last paper, a February to early March exam would give results in late March or April. If it goes back to the 2024 and 2025 pattern, May is more likely. This is our arithmetic on one year of data, not a board statement. We will replace it when the date sheet is out.
Why the result date moves
- The exam end date: the result follows the last paper.
- Evaluation and moderation, whose length the board does not publish.
- Government calendar and minister availability: the Class 10 date moved from 23 to 24 March in 2026.
- The start of the new academic session, reported as a reason for the earlier 2026 results.
Date rumours and how to check them
| What you see | How to check |
|---|---|
| A date posted on social media | Look for the board notice or the minister’s statement |
| A site giving a “confirmed” date | Check whether it names a source; otherwise it is a guess |
| Last year’s date repeated | History is not a promise; compare the table above |
| A news report quoting the minister | Reliable, but note the time; in 2026 the date moved by a day |
Where the date will appear
- The board site rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in (news section and Download Center).
- The 5th and 8th exam module: the 5th and 8th exam module.
- The education minister’s press note and local news from Ajmer.
- The school notice board and the class teacher, who receive circulars first.
What to do now
- If you are in Class 5 or 8, confirm with the school that the 2027 application was filed.
- If you are in Class 10, wait for the date sheet and read the board notice on the two-exam format.
- Keep the roll number steps ready: RBSE result kaise check kare.
- Read RBSE Rajasthan board result 2026 for the 2026 numbers.
